Rigged poker game

I always wondered if the poker games in the Sopranos were rigged. Tony and Johnny Boy gained control over various businesses through gambling debts. Of course, gamblers can lose and end up owing money so that's not unusual. However, it really struck me when Sil cleaned up in the poker game against Dave Scatino after Scatino was initially doing well. Scatino said to Tony, "How about the luck on that Silvio huh?".

Likewise JT Dolan gets cleaned out by Vito. Watching that game, the dealer is clearly shown dealing off the bottom of the deck. Incidentally Chris asks him if he wants to take off and JT replies "I'm getting killed here". The comment foreshadows what his involvement with the mob is leading up to.
