Just throwing my two cents in...I thought it was a three hour snuff film.
And this has nothing to do with my being an atheist. You want to make a movie about Jesus Christ? Fine, how about all the nice things he did and the enlightening shit he said? Is the most interesting part about this messiah really the fact that he was tortured for days by cartoonishly evil Jews and Italians?

33Back at you, AJ. Listened to the St. Matthew Passion over the weekend. If any artist ever had a direct line to God, Bach was it.

34Ah, nice. Brings back memories of my dad. That and Verdi's Requiem.

35Thought I'd bump this old thread for the day. Happy Easter to you, Fly, and all others that celebrate this day!

36So thoughtful of you, DH. And Happy Easter to you and yours as well.
Gosh I still miss the days when we were all posting together on the cultural phenomenon that was our mutual passion. And even though time marches on, I'm so grateful that you and a dozen or so others still drop by here just to say hello or Happy Easter every now and then. It means a lot to me.
