Carmella is walking around a church when the camera plans to a man with a ponytail who is painting. We don't see his face but people have speculated that it was Furio, especially given Federico's profession as a painter.

I'm not particularly convinced that it was Furio as I've never seen him credited in any official source. The actor may have been used to allude to Furio but I doubt it was literally him.

If it's supposed to be Furio it implies that he's on the run forever from Tony's vengeance. Carmela says (not to Furio, but to Vic Musto) that one day she may be free to find another man...

How ironic it would be if she bumped into Furio in Paris!

Carmela tells Tony that he saw the man with the tail in Paris?

No, she never mentions Furio again. If it was Furio in the church she didn't see him.

Tony never asked Annalisa what happened to Furio, it seems to me that in the final is not he who calls the Neapolinian against Leotardo, but Silvio, Are the relations with the Neapoli's ruined because of Furio??
