Pitbullluv and EdaMaria:

If you two are anything like me, I am just praying that Meadow does not play a prominent part in any episodes anytime soon, because I've got a sinking feeling that the next time we get a Meadow centric episode, especially one that shows her emotional connections to her father and mother, I fear may be our last.

Carmella and her thoughts on where Adrianna is?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you think she knows the truth?

Is she scared it could happen to her?

Does she believe Chrissy did it?

Does she actually believe she ran off?

Important topic in my opinion since she already had a vision of her earlier on in the season in the spec house.

Great episode. The scene with Tony and Chris after their post-heist dinner was fantastic.

I'm very disappointed in Tony though, and I blame him for Chris' relapse. Why did he EVER offer Chris a "toast" to his new marriage? Tony didn't fall off a wagon somewhere; he certainly knows about alcoholism and drug abuse. So why does he want to undermine Chris' recovery?

I think Paulie went to see his mother (aunt) because he's scared and feeling mortal and wants to reconnect, even if it's with someone who betrayed him. And the Virgin Mary scene probably gave him a guilt complex.

Carmela sure doesn't buy Tony's story. But then again, how naive was she, in the days of Godfather and Goodfellas, and John Gotti's trial, etc. I don't buy these wives having no frickin' clue what their hubbies do for a living.

It's so depressing that there are only 3 episodes left before the long wait until January. Thank God for Deadwood.

Why was that closed...............The Incandescent Statue from Johnny Cakes thread gets its own but this doesnt? Whats up with that?

Carmella and her views on Adrianna is a big thing. If spoilers I have read are to be believed its gonna come back again.

I think it deserves its own thread. Just my opinion tho..........

Edit Note: Sorry Wissyagain, closed as a judgment call since other people are already discussing those matters here. You may be right and the thread may be substantial enought that it warrants re-opening. Let's see how it all plays out.

DGC: I fear the same ... why do I think the last verse of 'Three Bells' may come up during a Meadow scene ??? (certainly hope I'm wrong)

wissyagain: I also thought cozette (sp?) during the scene with chrissy and the dog (thank god this time she didn't need to crawl under Chris for 'warmth') a big version of cozette from beyond!
further, if this were, say, touched by an angel, or some other network dreck, I'd say the dog was Adriana!

I'll just reference my post of a few minutes ago, and ask again, doesn't Carmela ever watch the news? The mafia has been and continues to be a newsworthy topic in the NY/NJ area, and stories about Tony and his crew have been on the news plenty of times. We've seen clips playing on TV during various episodes. How naive is she supposed to be? I have a lot of difficulty buying it, even if people avoid telling her things they know, like Angie putting money on the street. She's had the FBI over to the house more than once, she knows where the guns are hidden. She's no innocent child.

New Post Re: Episode Review and General Comments I don't know.. with each new episode the past few weeks I'm starting to feel like this season doesn't really have any direction. The past few seasons especially have had an underlying plot (or more than one) throughout the entire season.. with this season the only one I can clearly see is Vito's and it's nowhere near as compelling as other ones..

With three episodes left, I thought things would have a more defined direction by now. I have a feeling the big stuff will be left for the 'extra 8'.

reply to this message

i feel the exact opposite...i feel the direction is blatantly obvious, beating me over the head....the struggle between everyones two families, not just tone...

and i view vito's plot as the same as tones, torn between 2 worlds, but in vitos case it just happens to be his problems are more an issue of tradiotional versus non-traditional gender roles, he seems to have a genuine affection for his wife and kids, just not a sexual interest in his wife

...johnny sack, based on the previews and what we have seen, yes he is very old school (wanting revenge for the ralphies mole comment) and keeping his mouth shut thus far, but hey you never know..especially if he were to find out about tony and phils vitamin deal...

..bobby baccala seems to be going through these same issues, carmella, meadow, aj, june....christopher....i think you get my point

sorry for not typing in sentences or with caps...i am lazy
