I meant no redeeming features as if he were a real person and I couldn't stand his guts.

Right now he IS valuable to the show as a character. I just don't like him is all.

Yes, I agree this was the best episode so far. Ep. 1 had to mostly be a connection to the past season, to show many characters and to set up this season (as well as Tony getting shot). Ep. 2 was about Tony - him self, his blood and mob families. Ep. 3 was about how his blood and mob family falls apart without him there and with the seasonal set up's done, we can really concentrate on the storyline of the season.
Chris' movie idea, and how he told Tony about it, is another one of his haribrained money grubbing ideas, one that will probably fail in the end, especially with all of the oddballs in the mob supporting him.
Carm, especially with Melfi, was fantastic, and really set her up for the rest of the season.
AJ looks like he is headed to the mob life - no question.
Vito's going to be leaving soon, either by Tony's orders or someone else (Phil?) taking him out or Vito's gay life side catching up with him.
I loved the twist with Silvio - here is a guy that killed Ada, but cannot make a decision without going into an asthma attack (probably from the stress)
Fortunatally they kept Tony's coma-dream sequences short but meaningful.
Paulie - what else can one say about that nutjob (umm...perhaps after he got a nut job ) with his sloppy lead in the takedown of the drug dealers and how he stresses out Tony to the point of a panic attack. Still if Paulie is killed off, it would take a lot of comic relief out of the picture.
It ought to be interesting how Tony takes back his power and straightens out things.

What a good show this was!!
For me the best part was when Tony almost died on the table and he was pulling between heaven and earth. Kinda got to me!! I'm thinking the lady at the door was Tony's mom.

For the record Vito is a sleazeball, I've never liked the guy. I guess if I hate him that much, he's a good actor. That part with Finn cracked me up!!

That took a lot of balls to Chris to say "you owe me" when Tony couldn't even speak for himself!!

Can't stand AJ with his long hair-even more of a punk attitude!!

Question, how did they find out aout AJ wanting to get a gun? I guess if you're a Soprano things are found out about?
