Re: Sopranos/Gandolfini article in new GQ magazine
2What a great article, and you're so right about the timing. It has nothing specifically to do with Gandolfini's death, but it does illuminate the costs to all involved in giving birth and life to anything as worthwhile as The Sopranos.

3Best Article I read about and I read some. Thanx f. t. link!
Re: Sopranos/Gandolfini article in new GQ magazine
4I'm including a link to this thread in the Gandolfini forum as it is just too good to risk missing by leaving it in the news section alone. You'll always be able to access it in either forum, although it will technically reside in the News forum.

5Good article, I found this old interview with him from GQ done in 2004 which is a good read.

It's especially hard to read this line in the article:
he tries to do a little less drinking these days and to eat a little bit better. "I ran my body pretty hard for a long time," he says, "and I'm wondering if all of a sudden I'm going to get nailed in the next couple of years, so I want to take care of myself a wee bit better."

6Oh my.....I read James did have a substance abuse problem when he divorced his wife. You just never know. There are some people that put their bodies through the ringer and live to an old age and others stop living recklessly and die an early death. :(Midgar wrote:Good article, I found this old interview with him from GQ done in 2004 which is a good read.
