Re: Some new articles re use of "Don't Stop Believing"

O.K. I've now seen the ending more times than I want to admit. I still choke up when Tony reaches to A.J. (best onion rings in the state). It's as if Gandolfini can't look at him for fear of getting emotional about the scene. Anyhow, the interview with Steve Perry made me look harder at the choreography between the scenes and the song. For example, three times the song talks about "streetlight people" we go outside to see Meadow, with a streetlight in the middle of the shot.

Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world [Carmella sits down]
She took the midnight train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit [Tony]
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on [Carmella gets bad news about grand jury]

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard [Members Only Man Walks in]
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion [Meadow outside, streetlight]
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill, [Waitress brings sodas to table]
Everybody wants a thrill [Members only looks over at young lovers]
Payin anything to roll the dice,[Tony, the gambler]
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues [A.J. complaining about job, also Tony]
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people [Meadow still parking, streetlight]
Livin' just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Dont stop believin
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight people [Meadow running toward door, streetlight]
Don't stop [black screen]
