Does anyone have a list of how many posts will change the name under your screename...(ie Civilian, Soldier, etc.) I have always been curious what all of the names are.

Re: # of Posts to Change Ranks?
2I am not sure if the # of posts does change anything on this board. I believe all the mods have the ranking of "Capo" and FOMW (founder of the board) is "Boss". But again, I am not sure.

Re: # of Posts to Change Ranks?
3I looked at the active members list, and it looks like I may move up to Soldier after 150 posts. I know I moved up from civilian to associate; there may have been something in between.

Re: # of Posts to Change Ranks?
4after 100 posts you go from civilian to associate, after 150 you move up to soldier. Beyond that, no idea. But yes, all mods have 'capo' status regardless of no of posts, and FOMW is boss.
Fly might actually be able to clarify immediately as she possibly set the parameters for rankings

LOL, clearly i havent a clue then, that has just changed - the benchmark must be 80 posts to move up to associate!

Re: # of Posts to Change Ranks?
7Okay, I just checked the rankings I set up (purely arbitrarily) and here they are:
1-74 posts: civilian
75-149 posts: associate
150+ posts: soldier
The above are all automatic rankings that occur when the various post totals are reached. Capo ranks are assigned manually, regardless of # of posts, and the recipients get moderator powers.

If I'm reeeeeaaalllly good, can I be an Acting Capo some day?
Or maybe something like what Hesh has going for him...

Re: # of Posts to Change Ranks?
10IIRC, capos -- who are actually moderators -- are appointed only, but you get to be an honorary capo down the line if you have a certain number of posts. The number escapes me. But at the rate you're going, you should get there pretty quickly.
