Hey, as long as you know and you are ok with that. Like I said, I don't judge, because I might do the same thing. But I also know that I have no room to complain when the Blu-Ray Complete set is released.sopranology wrote:Yeah, I know I'm being played. Oh well.

53Great site you guys have here!
My question on the new release: Does anyone know what exactly the difference is between the one on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk
The one on Amazon.co.uk has 30 disc instead of 33. Those that mean it's exactly the same release minus the soundtrack? - Or did they exclude a lot of other stuff as well, for example the Booklet that isn't mentioned on the site?

54Maybe for SRP. But hopefully if you pre-order it, it won't be nearly as much.JLTucker wrote:I think that the Blu-Ray set will be around $600.

I can't recall for sure now, but it seems rjcrouch or one of our other British members was talking about the UK box sets and that they are really just a repackaging of existing DVD sets. They will not include the new extras that are advertised for the forthcoming box set that will be sold in the US. This is just my vague recollection, however, and you need to investigate this to be sure.
If there were no extras whatsoever, it seems the disc count should be 28 (7 x 4). So perhaps there is at least a soundtrack included, which would probably be two discs.

56That's the new "Deluxe edition" region 2 set. It includes the bonus material (which I'm going to download - take that, HBO). I suppose the Soundtracks were omitted.

This one on Amazon is definitely different.
I don't know what the differences are, though.
Re: USA TODAY has DVD update
58Welp, I've preordered mine. When this was first announced a few months ago, I told myself I'd wait for the Blu-Ray. But dang it, I just can't do it ...
Yes, I'm a sucker. The exact kind of sucker HBO loves.

59UP, you know what this means, right? Those of us who wait for the blu-ray will be pumping you for info on all the extras.
