Agent Harris is Mr. Friendly these days. I just don't believe it. It's all too strange. Maybe it's a setup for a final sting, but it just doesn't ring true. I can't see it happening in real life. Does anyone share my doubts?
I did read the idea that the arab guys are really FBI agents - that works. But Harris the sandwich buddy is too much for me.

Re: Agent Harris - Sopranos Buddy
2It's not unusual for the FBI to alert LCN types that there's a potential hit out on them.

3I think it's FBI policy, if not actual law, that they are required to notify a potential murder victim that a hit is coming. I don't think he was buddying up to Tony, but did you see the way he was buddying up to that sandwich? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

4I somehow don't believe he is working on terrorism, if he is working a different division now I don't think he would be privy to very sensitive information like that. He basically revealed they have another high level informant with in the NY crew.

Re: Agent Harris - Sopranos Buddy
5Um, no he didn't...he said he has friends/associate "agents still working OC"...
Stop looking for conspiracy where there isnt one.
If they know Harris is aquainted with the soprano crew they could notify him, even in small talk

6Yeah, I think the FBI has to alert someone when theres a chance of a hit. Remember in season one when they were talking about playing the Livia/Junior tape for Tony? I believe they alluded to it at one point.

Re: Agent Harris - Sopranos Buddy
7The FBI has to alert the person who is being threatened, as they did for Tony in Season 1 when they played the tape of Junior and Livia conspiring. In Kaisha, no prospective victim had yet been identified; the FBI was under no obligation to warn anybody yet. Harris, who said clearly that he had gotten the info from friends of his in "OC," warned Tony as a friendly gesture. Why? "It's Christmas."
More significant is that the FBI knew what had been said at the meeting of Phil's crew. How? Wire-taps? Informant? That's something we've yet to be told.
