Absolutely agree that it was stupid of Vito to place that call. Safer than a payphone, sure, but Phil can find "Men Do Catch" aka Thad McCone, Vito's a goner. Utterly. And he WILL find out about the phone call, you're right.

ITA with the suggestion that Vito's cell phone usage will in fact provide the corn-in-the-shit trail needed to find him. Thad McCone (anagram or not) is a rather rare name. Vito's lack of fastidiousness was disturbing.

Also, what about Tony setting up AJ with Beansie! I remember when the guys beat this poor shmo to a pulp.

OE...yes, isn't he permanently in a wheelchair (Beansie?) It'd be interesting if Ralph were still around....he might have AJ working for him surreptitiously- I think he's the one who got the gun to Jackie Jr?

Yes, Beansie is in a wheelchair, but down in FL. I assume his pizza shop is still going though, which if I recall correctly, was legit. In fact, that's what caused Richie to take Beansie down like that - Beansie refused to kick up to him.

Christopher has been poorly used this season and underused as well.

We could and should be witnessing how Chris deals with the guilt of sending his fiance to the grave. Of how he embraces the life that he gave up the one he loved for. Instead we are seeing Chris as a comic character.

Not that it isn't funny ("It's Saw meet Godfather Part 2"). But come on, the movie storyline has been done before and it wasn't all that interesting the first time. It also seems that Chris' renewed interest in the movi biz may be connected to the guilt he feels over Ade, who pushed him into going into the movies. It also feels that the number of times the he brings up Ade ("You owe me for Ade") when he talks to Tony, it seems that Chris feels anger and possibly some regret at his decision.

I find it hard to believe that Tony is allowing Chris to entertain these notions after the discuss they had the first time it came up.

I'd like to see more of the issues with Chris resolved. Clearly Vito is getting too much air time and his storyline is being played out way too much.

JohnnyTwoTimes:

Looks like you anticipated "The Ride" perfectly. Or rather, that Chase anticipated our desire to get a Chris episode at this point in the show.

Just an inane and unimportant query, its possibly just that its the same in AJ's case as it is with most other men in the Soprano family with regard to cheating on their partners, but that WAS Devin with AJ at the Sacrimoni wedding wasnt it?

It certainly looked like her (quite attractive as a brunette i must say), then this season he is picking up young tarts in the club?

Hi LaCerva. No, that wasn't Devon. Different girl. I get the feeling AJ doesn't really have "a" girlfriend these days.
