Re: Meadows attitude

It hasn't gone unoticed for me.

Actually, I've thought for quite awhile that Finn is getting the short end of the stick here. It will be interesting to see what Chase has in mind for those two.

She's put him in difficult situations many times.

She didn't believe him about Vito in the Parking lot, then is quick to throw his story out there as gossip.

She berates him for standing up for himself.

She definately plays that "It's ok for me to talk bad about my family, but you can't" game with him (and really he's never said anything all that bad).

Actually, Finn was kind of scared into proposing to Meadow in the first place. And she seems to have a power trip over him, as if she likes to keep him scared of the family.

Yes, I noticed this too. I always get nervous when I see someone with orange juice here. Now all we have to do is look for some eggs. There have been several instances where eggs have preceded or coincided with death here too.

This might be a strech but some Johnny Cake recipes call for eggs.

Re: AJ in this episode

This thread is called "AJ in this episode," but this is the oldest post I can find, and that, because I looked at jayneezy's Public Profile. Also, the name does not appear in the list of threads at "Episode 6.06: Live Free or Die."
Question: where did this thread begin--where is the "AJ in this episode" without the Re:?

Re. Carm and Hugh

All the bitching about Hugh going on... while I don't disagree - Carm is in the wrong here. She did bring her father in as a partner, and then screamed at him in Members Only as a subordinate - pretty harsh and uncalled for I think.
Yes very dysfunctional family; just something about Hugh's line 'I've had a lifetime or her bullshit' said something to me. Can anyone recal Carm ever being nice to her parents? Father in particular?

Overall, I agree with the 'Hugh's an ass' movement, but Carm isn't without blame here. I'll think more clearly about this, but I think I've perceived something about Carm's behaviour towards her parents before also, I just wasn't sure what it was.

Edit: I kinda cracked up at this, but it says something: When Carm and Hugh are arguing, her mom, out of nowhere, asks some question about 'Carmela where's my bedpan (or something)' - right in the middle of a heated argument. God, self-involved much? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

I believe the birds have been mentioned... I agree that I don't recall Carm ever being sweet to her parents... Her attitude is much like that of her own daughter's, and subconciously that was probably why Carm was always trying to keep Meadow from growing to treat her parent's the same... It seems both kids have taken after Carm in the parental respect department (as opposed to the all or nothing family man that is Tony).

maybe its the first time she can catch a breath since she left home.her mother 'procured' her how to lead a household and how to raise children and then came tony already, falling for her blond hair, and then she lived with him, one of her first friends and never before away from home.
and here she is, her childs (and herself) just as high as her mother; and her father speaking to her how tony might speak one day to meadow, thats what the scene might tell us as well, hence the birds as direct connection to tony.

thats one big circle, the dumb girls in the family catching the guys which one day then yell at their daughters.
leaves AJ, which will one day get a major heritage and will end up the total partyboy/man, just can imagine him opening a champaigne bottle and laughing(like me :P).
but he will find himself another girl like them all, he has already started with the toxine girl from the wedding.(wonder where the blonde from earlier is, that one was decent, but probably looking for a guy with more direct cash).
philosophical bs lol :P
old circle, i guess thats why many viewers cry for more action.
