I just smacked myself in the forehead. How in god's name did I miss THAT? Nice pickup, I think you are the first person to point it out, but its so obvious. I don't think there's much meaning there this time, but it is a wonderful tie-in. I just can't believe it didn't occur to me.

52What a loaded spiritual episode.
It seems to me that Tony is going to go through a spiritual crisis. He is Kevin Finnerty now.
He threw up with the conversation of mob business. I take that as a sign of not being able to stomach it much longer.
He is more aware, more awakened, to the way life is going on, he is more appreciative and more alive. I think he is more focused on the bigger picture, and I don't see him lasting long.

Didn't Paulie get booted out of the army on a "section 8"?

56Does anyone think that now that Carmella appears to be on board with "this thing of ours," that it will now be in conflict with Tony's seeming metamorphisis into a "kinder, gentler mob boss"?
At some point in time I'm expecting Carmella to come flying out of a chair, slap a weeping Tony and tell him "YOU CAN ACT LIKE A MAN!"

That was what I noticed. Mob guys have to be 100% Italian, and now Paulie might be 50%. Guess who is the only person besides Paulie who now knows that? Tony. Tony could have Paulie whacked or kicked out of the family for that; or, if Paulie gets worried he could whack Tony to keep him quiet. I think this angle is going to play significantly down the road...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">

59We don't really know that Paulie's father isn't Italian. The Lupertazzi family's got a capo named "Rusty" afterall! LOL!

60When the nurse asked Tony in the beginning of the episode if he wanted to talk to anyone about not feeling himself, like a social worker, I kept waiting for the Melfi request.
I can't wait to see that first session.
