ditto that. And as far as AJ (double-kah) in one scene at college: note that he is most likely viewing or videotaping himself via camera-phone while being lectured to, within the environment provided by society for exactly that purpose- a place for adolescents in transition to self-explore, learn about themselves, discover where they fit (or not) in society, blah blah etc. Sticking his toungue out at himself like a simpleminded parrot fascinated with himself in the mirror (the double image). We find out later that in fact he does seem to graduate past that stage of self-obsession and become more grown up and focused by the end of the show; One phase of himself Does die to the phase of adolescence, and he crosses into another land thru the ring of fire (SUV exploding and he escapes with fair damsel). He Does represent a sort of guide, IMHO, to Tony, thru both of their growth journeys, as the show plays out and they learn to love and respect eachother (sorry of this sounds so California-Jargonish...).

The cut to black in "Made in America" could be symbolic of this quote from the 7 Souls montage:

"The ancient Egyptians postulated seven souls.
Top soul, and the first to leave at the moment of death, is Ren, the Secret Name. This corresponds to my Director. He directs the film of your life from conception to death. The Secret Name is the title of your film. When you die, that's where Ren came in.
Second soul, and second one off the sinking ship, is Sekem: Energy, Power, Light. The Director gives the orders, Sekem presses the right buttons"

Just an idea...
