12I think Paulie genuinely loves Chris and does want to bury the hatchet. He is a scumbag but I don't think he'd go so far as to lure Chris into a false sense of security simply to f--- him over later. That incident with Johnny Sack's betrayl probably scared him and now he wants to keep as many ties as he can.
