Placement of Heart's "Barracuda"

I've always wondered why "Leaving California" suddenly shifts to "Barracuda" just before Silvio kills Adriana. Not sure if there is any intention behind it.

Because the split-second we hear of the Heart song -- right before Silvio shuts the car off -- is an unintelligible female vocal shriek which sounds like a woman screaming, obviously alluding to Ade's situation. It's the kind of extremely darkly comic moment that Chase so consistently displays throughout the series, via editing and sound and image. Though here it's so dark as to be not "funny" at all, merely a clever choice upon further reflection.Goliath55 wrote:I've always wondered why "Leaving California" suddenly shifts to "Barracuda" just before Silvio kills Adriana.
