Steve Buscemi

Buscemi directed tonight's episode. And now you can say he has directed the best Sopranos episode ever - Pine Barrens - and now maybe the worst. What do you all think? I LOVED Pine Barrens and during tonight's episode I was actually bored for the first time ever watching Sopranos.

from the moment i found out steve buscemi was going to join the cast for the fifth season of sopranos, i was praying he'd be like his charactor in Fargo...with exception of the last five minutes of last weeks episode, i'm yet to see that..and i'm kinda disappointed..

Believe it or not I actually think I like the overplayed Carm/ Wegler and Tony B/ Kim episode last week than this one. I keep waiting for the payoff. Im still enjoying watching this every week and I will not stop but this whole season has not been that great yet. They are not finishing up storylines and its frustrating the hell out of me. Every week it something new that seems to get wrapped up that episode. Im hoping for a slow build to a big payoff......<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":(">

A huge payoff has to come by the end of the season. The way things are escalating with Johnny Sack and Lil' Carmine, and now the growing animosity between Tony and NY, we're headed for something big.

I think we may see the first large scale mob war since the end of season one, when Tony and Junior were going at it. It will most likely also be set up for the final season, as well.

Now wouldn't that have been a "surprise"? Tony B is a lot more complex a character than Richie or someone like that. It would've been a travesty to make him a regular psycho.
