Here are a few things you may wish to do now that the series has "ended" (HA that's a good joke)


Find a good book, open the pages, use those letters to form words. It's a good pasttime.

Make Sunday your "HEY, let's watch a movie with a GREAT ending" night. (to make up for the shit that was the sopranos finale of course)

If you are a true die hard chase hater now, make this your night to write him your weekly letter telling him how much dick he should and probably does suck.

Watch The X Files, Quantum Leap or Sliders....get into them and remind yourself how it feels to be pissed with a great show's finale.

Get in FlashChat at the chase lounge.

Play Final Fantasy VII.

Spend an hour each Sunday putting together a list of the "clues" in the Sopranos that really didn't mean shit. This should fulfill your Sunday's for the rest of your natural life.

Write a letter to James Gandolfini and let him know he was GREAT in 8mm.

Look around your room and try to find clues as to why that guy next door plays his radio so damn loud.

Watch the Sopranos again, with no sound, from beginning to end while playing "Dark side of the Moon". The ending will then be less ambiguous.

posting on the internet is nowhere near the league of creating a complex parable woven together carefully over 9 years while hundreds of people worked many long hours to create" this thing of ours". No offense but "a set above Chase" are not many of us I'm afraid. For the folks who want to hate chase and feel negativity towards any one single ending as being THE "one" without any other interepetation being valid or interesting I find very very very boring to read and hope that we refrain from too much of asserting who is right or wrong. Doing that is a sign of our own imaginations declining to the point of nothingness which is not what thie artist intended. He obviously intended for us to explore and talk about it and the more ways we do that the better. I can stiil say what I thought happened and also accept someones elses idea without any judgement about that. That to me is the most tangible thing we are given. Hes telling us to put it together ourselves. He is giving us a glimpse of ourselves in the process........and on and on and on and ohhhhhhhhhhh

The views and opinions on here are a little more thought provoking than just throwing insults at david chase because you dont like the ending. I am amazed at how you can place yourself above him with such an immature argument.

Yeah, i understand your not pleased with the ending, but to make comments like chase sucking cock?? What the f is that?? Weird, thats what i say.

I, like anyone would listen to someone who is not happy about the show but the drivel you wrote is beyond ridiculous and i dont think there should be any place for that on a forum littered with some great insight.

JohnnySoprano, I agree with you and hadn't noticed the "dick sucking" remark until you pointed it out.

chest_ rockwell, I allow even very harsh substantive criticism of the show and its principals here. But I will not allow personal diatribes or cheap, sensational, or pornographic insults against those principals. This is the only warning I will give on this matter (which had never come up before now).

All jokes aside, Gandolfini was GREAT in True Romance. It used to be how I recognized him. When I saw 8mm, Get Shorty, and finally the Sopranos.. i would say, " hey that's the guy from True Romance"

Just as a side-note to this post, I watched "Fallen" a film starring Denzel Washington and John Goodman. It is a thriller involving a serial killer who manages to escape death and can swap bodies through touching, passing his spirit into the next person's body. Not a bad flick if you are into those sorts of things. But Gandolfini plays a fellow detective, who is buddies with Goodman and Washington. Also, a very minor role (only like two lines, but they ARE shared in some back and forth banter with Gandolfini) is Aida Turturro (Janice)_
