Cousin Brian and the drill...

1
Last night (early in episode) Tony S. complained to Tony B. about his aggravation surrounding the misplacement of the (brand name) electric drill. A few minutes later while reviving this topic with Carm and remembering that her cousin, Brian, had in fact borrowed it, Tony's face registered some sort of meaningful expression. It felt to me as though the subject of Cousin Brian revived some sort of issue or confirmed a lingering suspicion in T's mind. It was almost as though Tony was experiencing the kind of "aha moment" that will be amplified later. Anyway, have we seen Cousin Brian thus far this season...?

the drill and Brian

Remeber when T and Brian were in the basement, and Tony gave him a watch ($15k if I remember correctly). When Carm yelled down the stairs "what are you doing". Biran answered "I'm borrowing a drill". Brian took the drill out of the house, resumable never returned it too. Could this be something...i think so!

***edited....the 415 was an error...I meant to press shift+4 (="$"). It reads, and was meant to read: $15k)

we have seen Brian so far. rememeber in where's johnny they were golfing together when tony ran into junior's doctor. what i can't figure out is why he complained to carmela about the drill when he gave it to brian when slipping him the watch (which was a patek phillipe for 15K, not 415K). my guess is that they needed something for tony to get upset over to have a minor attack in front of carmela to come clean that he still has the attacks and may need more therapy. this is not really keeping up a strong front against carmela, so maybe tony wants her to know that he is still vulnerable even w/o her. just my 2 cents.

Could it be that as Tony remembered giving Brian the drill he also simultaneously felt the guilt of lying to Carmela about his reason for being in the basement and this is what triggered his panic attack.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/devil.gif ALT=":evil">
